What's in the box?
69 dance, techno, rave, and trance tracks, plus 24 NES- and SNES-inspired originals. Every track is synthesized in your browser with Web Audio. No audio service, account, or separate sound files needed.
The download includes the player and sound engine, complete track catalog, demo controls, README, and validation tools. Play, pause, skip, shuffle, seek, change volume, and experiment with effects.
Try it in three steps
- Download and unzip the pack.
- Open a terminal in the extracted folder containing
package.json. If you have Python installed, runpython3 -m http.server 8080(on Windows,py -m http.server 8080). - Open
http://localhost:8080/music/in your browser and click Play.
Use a local web server; opening the HTML file directly can block its JavaScript modules. Audio starts after a click or tap.
Add it to your project
Copy the five modules from music/src/ into your project together: pocketBossEngine.js, pocketBossPlayer.js, tunes.js, arrangeTunes.js, and newTunes.js.
The included README has the import and Play-button example. Use the demo's main.js and index.html as a reference for the full controls. This is browser source code you can integrate, rather than an MP3 album or desktop installer.
For developers: run npm run validate from the pack root to check all 93 tracks and their packaged copies.
