What is Randomifier?
A free Solana program that turns changing cryptocurrency prices into a number your app can use.
What would I use it for?
Think of an artwork that changes colors with the market, or a digital world whose weather changes when prices move. Your app calls Randomifier, gets a number, and uses that number to choose what happens.
Those are examples of what you can build. You write the rules that connect the number to your artwork or app.
How does it get the number?
It reads seven cryptocurrency prices from Pyth, checks that they are valid and recent, then adds them together. The result is called X. It also returns a fingerprint of the prices so a developer can check which inputs were used.
The same accepted prices give the same answer. A new call can return a different answer when the prices change.

Open the price calculator, choose a market, and move the slider. You’ll see how changing one price changes the result. It uses saved prices so you can explore it immediately.

The developer guide has two paths: run a JavaScript example on your computer, or call Randomifier from your own Solana program using the Rust helper.

What does it cost?
Randomifier charges no service fee. A standalone, one-signature Solana transaction has a base fee of 0.000005 SOL, plus any priority fee. The supplied reader simulates the call and pays no on-chain transaction fee.
