# Robinhood Chain reference

## Identity and status

- Chain: Robinhood Chain mainnet.
- Chain ID: `4663` / `0x1237`.
- Basket target: exactly 69 fixed, unique Hood-native adapters.
- Normalized exponent: `-18`.
- Current verified status as of 2026-08-06: core implemented; reviewed adapter registry 0 of 69; no mainnet deployment address.
- Status is time-sensitive. Probe again before presenting it as current.

## Call path

After a reviewed deployment publishes its address, use this ABI:

```ts
const abi = [
  "function computeX() view returns " +
    "((uint16 basketVersion,bytes32 basketHash,int32 normalizedExponent," +
    "uint16 sampleCount,uint256 compositeValue,bytes32 compositeHash," +
    "uint64 minUpdatedAt,uint64 maxUpdatedAt) result)",
];
const result = await new Contract(address, abi, provider).computeX();
```

Do not supply a placeholder address as if it were a deployment. Until a reviewed receipt exists,
report that the integration is prepared but not live.

## Result

Read and retain:

- `basketVersion` and `basketHash`;
- `normalizedExponent` and `sampleCount`;
- `compositeValue` (X) and `compositeHash`;
- `minUpdatedAt` and `maxUpdatedAt`.

The call fails if an adapter's identity or bytecode changed, its value is zero, its observation is stale
or future-dated, or its read reverts.

## Costs

An off-chain `eth_call` to `computeX()` is a read and does not submit an on-chain transaction. The
chosen RPC provider may impose its own access terms. A smart contract calling `computeX()` inside a
transaction consumes ordinary gas. The Randomifier adds no provider or protocol fee.
